Quickbook has a flaw that you cannot use duplicate Surnames for different customers. I have many duplicate customers, and many customers from different members of the same family but different addresses. Can I not get quickbooks to differenciate customers by address and not name as I am sick of the "Error: The name supplied already exists: Anotherproduct or service is already using this name"IMHO Quickbooks is not fit for purpose if I cannot have customers with same name, can someone please help?. Simply adding full stops or extra letters is not suitable.Thankyou

Hello,Can someone guide me how to set users based on Role list by controlling the access level in QuickBooks Desktop Premier? We currently use QuickBooks Enterprise and in the Enterprise version i can set users based on his or her roles in the organisation (snapshot attached - Snapshot of QuickBooks user). We are in the process of migrating to the new QuickBooks desktop premier and am trying to set access level rights based on user roles. In Desktop Premier the access setting is very minimal and is not restricted to a user.For instance : -Sales and Accounts Receivable - It states 'No Access', 'Full Access', 'Selective Access'.Purchases and Accounts Payable - It states 'No Access', 'Full Access', 'Selective Access'.Banking and Credit Cards - It states 'No Access', 'Full Access', 'Selective Access'. Over here, even if i try to restrict the access levels to a user, the user can still view or make changes to the restricted areas and am trying to figure it out as to how to restric

Hi All, Currently using a desktop version of Quickbooks (2013 version) Need to upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version and am looking at Quickbooks Desktop 2018. There are a number of versions available on a well know auction website however they are all from the USA, so am unsure if one is purchased and installed will it do UK VAT etc. Are the versions country specific or is it just a case of selecting UK and GBP and off you go? Can't seem to find any second hand copies available in the UK? Cheers

My paypal connection has expired, but when I go to the reconnect page it says there's a new connection method so I need to reconnect. Everytime I go to reconnect and enter my login details, it says that some of my details are incorrect but they definitely aren't. I've tried to access chat to talk to someone, but that page doesn't load. I am logged into my clients account as an Accountant. They have a lot of things set up incorrectly so I need to be able to go in and change this for them. How do I get full access? I have tried changing the custom for styles and invoice address and are unable to save either. I am sure there will be more as I go foward. Can anyone advise? Many thanks,
