For most general issues in QBO, clearing the app's cache can do the trick. By clearing it's cache, you can remove that historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate.
Mobile App:
In your QuickBooks Online Mobile App, select the Gear icon.
Choose the Refresh Data menu.
Tap Yes.
Android Settings:
Go to Settings and select Apps.
Choose QuickBooks Online and click on Storage.
Select Clear Data.
Then, try capturing your receipt again.
Open the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
Open the app and tap the Menu ≡ icon.
Tap Receipt snap.
Tap the Receipt camera icon and snap a photo of your receipt.
Tap Use this photo, then Done.
QuickBooks starts a transaction for you based on the captured info. All you have to do is categorize it.
