How do I revert back to the older version (I'm using phone app). I would like to invoice the previous way.?

You can only revert to the Old layout using a web browser, ross.

Switching to the Old layout is only available in the higher versions of QuickBooks Online. If you're using a Simple Start, you have no option to do so. Keep in mind that all users will eventually utilize the new layout.

In the meantime, if you subscribed to Essentials, Plus, or Advanced, log in to your QuickBooks account via browser and follow the steps below to invoice the previous way:

1. Go to the +New icon and select Invoice under the Customers column.
2. Click the Old layout in the top right corner. 
3. Choose the Switch layout button.
4. Pick a reason that made you switch layouts.
5. Click Leave and submit or Share feedback.
   

You can also customize invoices to modify your sales form’s appearance and add details according to your needs.
