Question

If I delete my account will I have to pay for a new subscription? I made too many mistakes and I need to start over as it will be less work to get things back in order.

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic product that provides options in situations like this.  I'd be glad to provide more information so you can choose the best fit for your business needs!

 

If your QuickBooks Online account has been active for less than 90-days, you can start fresh without the need to start over with a new subscription.  Here's how to reset your account.  However, if it's passed the 90-days you'll need to cancel your current account and start a new subscription.  Keep in mind that when you cancel a QuickBooks Online account, you'll continue to have access to your information for one year before your data is permanently deleted.  This is beneficial in providing the time you need to export your data, and import it into your new account as you see necessary.  Here's a helpful guide to assist with exporting data so you can import it into your new QuickBooks Online account.

If you are using QBO EasyStart, you should signup for a new account and cancel the old one.
