Is my log in password the same as the password for entering year end adjusting entry?

The password for logging into your account is normally different from the one you use to enter year end data. This password can be the same if you set it up that way on your end. In case you've forgotten the password, here's how you can edit it: 

1. Click the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
2. From the Advanced tab, select the Accounting section.
3. Under the Closing date field, choose either to close the books with a warning only or with a password too.
4. To change the password, just enter a new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
5. Tap Save and Done.
