When an account falls inactive, you'll continue to have access to your books for one year. This provides you with the option to reactivate or resubscribe at any time within one year. However, when you can't access your account due to other reasons, such as a suspension, you will receive an email notification with details and instructions, so you can get back on track with your books. I suggest reviewing your email, including your junk/spam folders, for any notifications regarding this issue.
If you've subscribed to QuickBooks Online directly from Intuit, you'll be prompted to update your billing information, so you can reactivate the account immediately. However, if you've purchased your subscription through the app store, follow this link to manage your billing and subscription.
