Can i get admin rights if admin is dead

Yes, you can request to be the primary admin. To do this, you'll need to create an Intuit account and submit a notarised document that names the executor of the estate. It should state that you are authorised to be the primary admin for the account.

Then, prepare the required documents based on your business type, ensuring they include the business owner's name(s) and title(s).

Once ready, follow the steps below to file a request:

1. Open the Business Change Request form.
2. Choose the company for which you want to request primary admin access, then click Continue.
3. Review your business details, then select Continue.
4. On the summary page, verify that all information is correct, then click Continue.
5. Select Submit request.

We had to do this once after the only admin was no longer available. The paperwork was the slow part, but once Intuit had everything they needed, the admin change took about a week. I’d make sure the documents all show the same business name and details before submitting, otherwise it can drag out.
