DO I need to use the web migration to transfer Desktop Pro 2021 to online? I have used the feature in the desktop and each time nothing happens

Yes, you still need to use the migration tool when migrating from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO), g74v77.

First, you must be subscribed to QBO to migrate your data from QBDT. You also have 90 days from the time you create your QBO account to move your data. If you’re unsure how long your company has been set up, sign in to QuickBooks Online.

Then, if you're ready to migrate, refer to this article: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

Please note that If your QuickBooks Desktop version is 2021 or older or you don’t have access to QuickBooks Desktop, you'll have to use the web-based migration tool.
