Feeling stupid. I set up a new company (my 35th or so) and made a mistake at the start. WB asks for the Intuit User and I put the wrong info in. I was able to create ADMIN and a PW, but this company needs to be in the right account. How can I fix thi

To confirm - I entered the wrong info when it asks for the Intuit User Name when I was creating a new company. How can I make this right? I was able to create ADMIN user and PW, but each time I enter the company it wants to do a text to confirm. I am sure it is because the date I entered is not correct. How can I fix this?

 

I entered the info for the office manager, and it is she they are texting. I needed to enter the company information, obviously. Guess I had a moment....

You can transfer the Intuit Account admin in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) by going to the Intuit Account User Management, Sunny.

 

Before transferring, you'll need to add or invite the account as a secondary admin. Once done, follow these steps to transfer:

 

  1. Go to the Company menu.
  2. Choose Users, then Intuit Account User Management.
  3. Find the secondary admin and select Edit.
  4. Click Change Primary admin.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to the admin's phone number.
  6. The admin transfer email is sent to the current primary admin and secondary admin.

 

Once the secondary admin accepts the transfer, they will become the primary admin.
