You can create a credit memo or a refund receipt to issue a refund to your customers. Also, credit card refunds can only go back to the original card used for the purchase. I can guide you how to do it.
Here's how to create the refund receipt:
Click the Plus sign (+) icon.
Choose Refund Receipt.
Fill in the necessary fields.
Click Save and close.
Once completed, you can match it with the refund receipt you’ve processed in Quickbooks. Here’s how:
On the left panel, click on Banking.
In the For Review tab, locate the refund.
Select the transaction, click on Find Match.
In the Match transactions page, choose the refund receipt.
