Good day to you, Gabby. I'm here to provide some information about moving your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Please note that you cannot directly switch or migrate data from QBO to QBSE because they're different programs that are designed for different types of businesses. You'll have to export your data from QBO, create a new company in QBSE, and import your data into it.
To switch to QBSE, you can cancel your current QBO Simple Start subscription. To ensure you can still access your company information, export your chart of accounts, products and services, reports, customers, and vendors to Excel before canceling your current subscription. Here's how:
Log into your QBO Simple Start account.
Go to Settings and select Export data.
On the Reports tab, set the date range.
Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
Moreover, since some features in QBO aren't available in QBSE, you can check this article to learn more about the limitations and how you can import your transactions to the program:
Please let me know how it goes after switching from QBO to QBSE by dropping a comment below. I'm always here to provide additional assistance. Have a great day ahead!
QBO and QBSE are 2 different products. You can convert your data from QBO to QB Desktop file and use the trial version for good to access your historical data. Then you will start from scratch in QBSE and run the bank feeds.
