How do I get copies of prior years' 941 reports

I'll show you how to get copies of your prior 941 reports, flc-accountant.

Before proceeding, please ensure these forms are archived so that we'll be able to retrieve them.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Taxes menu and then select the Payroll Tax page.
2. In the Forms section, tick the View and Print Archived Forms link under Quarterly Forms. 
3. In the Archived Forms page, select Quarterly Forms, then pick 941 in the drop-down.
4. Click the 941 link, then View.

If you're unable to see them, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They'll help you access these forms.

1. Click the Help (?) icon at the top.
2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
3. Enter your issue or question on the Type something field, then click the send icon.
4. Choose I still need a human.
5. Select Get help from a human.
6. You can either select the Chat with us or Have us call you option.

Let me share some information and guide you on how to acquire copies of your 941 forms from prior years.

The steps to view and print your tax forms vary depending on whether you e-filed the form or printed and filed it manually.

If Intuit files the forms for you, all forms will be accessible for viewing or printing approximately 35 days following the end of the quarter. Amended forms are also available once your case is complete.

If you want to or have already e-filed your tax form, or if we did it for you, here's how you can access them:

1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
2. Select the Filings tab.
3. View your current tax forms in the ACTION NEEDED or COMING UP section. Or select Resources, then Archived forms and filings for past forms.
   • If the form is available, select Preview to view forms not yet filed.

If you filed your tax form manually, I'll show you how to archive and then view the forms.

To archive the form:

1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
2. Click on the Filings tab.
3. Next to the tax form you want to save or archive, hit File.
4. Select the period, then Archive.

To view the form:

1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
2. Tap the Filings tab.
3. Click on Resources, then Archived forms and filings.
4. Hit the ▼ dropdown menu to filter the form type you want to view.
5. Select the form name, then View.
