How do I restore a backup copy?

Restoring your backup copy is an easy process, @upanddowntown. I can show you how to do it.

The feature to back up and restore is available in QuickBooks Online Advanced. It allows you to save a copy of your data securely when needed. The process may take up to an hour.

If you're using this version, here are the steps you can follow:

1. Head to the Gear icon. Click Back up company.
2. Sign in with an Intuit account if needed. Authorize to proceed.
3. Choose the company you want to restore a backup.
4. In the Action dropdown, press Restore.
5. Pick the date you want to restore in the Date field.
6. From the Time dropdown, select the time you want to restore.
7. Type in AGREE from the Ready to restore your backup? area.
8. Hit Next.

If you're using Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus version, you can utilize the Export feature to back up your data and transfer it.
