Question

How do I revert back to the previous look of Quickbooks Online? I can't work like this. It's hideous.

You're doing too much, QBO. I can't find anything! Too many sub menus and apps and widgets. Maddening.

Unfortunately, switching back to the old format in QBO is no longer an option. The previous format in QuickBooks Online has been upgraded to a new and improved version available to all user accounts.

 

This more streamlined and intuitive experience is designed to help you navigate and use QuickBooks more effectively.

At least allow users to make the left navigation column customizable to show ONLY our bookmarked pages. Nesting bookmarks is too buried.

Your input regarding the new layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is appreciated, Keaney. I understand the importance of having an interface that supports your workflow effectively.

 

In the new QBO experience, the menus on the left side of your dashboard are part of the default functionalities introduced in this new design. While these menus themselves can't be customized, you can take advantage of the Bookmarks section to create a tailored list of your most frequently used features. By adding the pages and tools you rely on daily to your Bookmarks, you’ll have quicker access to them.

If you want the left-side menu to display all your added bookmarks, I highly recommend submitting your ideas by providing feedback to our product engineering team. Your input is valuable and helps us enhance QuickBooks to better meet your needs in future updates.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product suggestions in the designated box.
  4. Click Next to submit.
