I can help add some details to your Profit and Loss report, @blaine5.

 

You can select the Add notes to enter journal details on the Profit and Loss report. By clicking the Edit titles, you can also insert other parts on the default accounts like Income, Expenses, Gross profit, Other income, etc.

 

When you want to select and check the details on the profit and loss, you can click the amounts under the Total column.
