I am trying to convert back to desktop QB, the export file from online to desktop is messed up and deleted all CC deposits. Is there a way to get a better convert file?

You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert data for the current fiscal year only. Then use the converted file going forward and only use your old QB Desktop file to access the historical data.
