Question

I'd like to corrrect the entry that is already closed. How sould I provide the correct password before modifying data that is prior to the closing date?

Welcome to the Community, @davidc3.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), only the Master and/or Company Admin can set the password when closing books.

 

If you're the Admin, you can reopen your closed books and make the necessary changes. Just ensure there’s no password set so you can make some modifications. If you have, make sure to remember and enter your password.
