Question

I have a project that doesn't show up unless I search it. It will not let me run reports on this project. Any Ideas how to get it on my current projects?

@jparmet ,

1.  Projects > Just above the Project list, select All statuses and All Customers.

2.  Skim resulting list to see if any End dates need revisions or have wrong year.

As a troubleshooting test, I set up a project with a date range in 2021, but status was "In progress" -- it still  showed on the list.  When anything other than "All statuses" is chosen, the Status column disappears... an "All statuses" run done periodically for maintenance may be a good idea. Having expired date ranges on "In progress" projects may cause inconsistent results elsewhere in the reporting.

3.  Make sure the ones you want to see have "In Progress" as their status.

As a troubleshooting test, I set up a project with a current date range, but status was "Not started" -- it did not appear on the list when I left and re-entered the Project section, because the QBO default is "In progress" projects.

Which reports aren't producing the expected results?
