It isn't available in QBO however, here is my easy workaround.
1) Customize your report to remove all footer fields and export file to PDF.
2) Open in Adobe Acrobat and go to Tools - Edit.
3) Select Header & Footer - Add.
4) In the Center Footer Field input your desired verbiage. You may also want to change font details depending on your QBO Report Settings.
5) At the top of the entry screen select save settings and name your setting whatever you prefer. I use "QBO Financial Statements".
Steps 4 & 5 will only be needed the first time in order to setup the template. Once it is in Acrobat you can then select the saved footer after step 3 and it will automatically populate the other fields. This template is user specific for Adobe and will be available to use on any reports. The final template will look something like this...
We're constantly looking for ways to enhance QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience, so you can complete your accounting tasks smoothly. I recommend sending feedback about adding a custom field in the footer section directly to our engineers. They review customers' suggestions for future updates and incorporate them to develop future enhancements.
Here's how:
In your company, tap the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Feedback under Profile.
Enter your product suggestions in the field box.
Click Next to submit.
You can visit the QuickBooks Blog to keep in the loop about the latest releases and product updates. I've provided a link to a page with tools and information to help you build your business and manage your accounting activities on time: Community guide.
Feel free to visit the Community again if you have other QuickBooks-related concerns or questions about reports. I'll get back to help you, kemokc.
