I'll help you check if your account is US-based. In QuickBooks, whatever home currency you set up in your account will be based on the region in which you sign up. To check your location, we can go to Account and Settings, and from there, you can check your home currency. Here's how:
Click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
Then, from the Advanced, select the Currency. From there, you can check your home currency to see if it's USD.
