My company shows Canada address and won't let me update to the United States. How do I fix this?

The country or region you choose when signing up for QuickBooks Online determines the home country of your account. That is why it shows Canada instead of the United States. Please note that the home country is locked when you subscribe and can't be changed later.

 

To use QuickBooks Online in a different country, I recommend creating a new account and selecting the desired region (United States) during sign-up.

 

  1. Visit the Choose your country page.
  2. Select United States.
  3. Choose a QuickBooks plan.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. 

 

Once you've signed up, I suggest canceling your QuickBooks Online Canada subscription to avoid unwanted charges.

You have QBO CA version. Cancel it and sign up for QBO US version.
