Question

Need help changing roles in Manage users. Primary admin has left company before assigning new Primary. I have no access to 3 dots within Manage users to change roles.

Another option, you can purchase a 3rd party service to migrate your data to a new blank QBO account.

Only the primary admin can change user roles in QuickBooks Online, Carol.

 

In addition to what Siab said,  you can contact the current primary admin and ask them to transfer their role to another available individual in the company. The primary admin has the highest level of permissions, with full access to all areas of the QuickBooks account and the ability to manage all users.

 

If the primary admin is unreachable, the second option is to request access to be the primary admin. Make sure to provide the necessary information to verify that you own the business or have authorization to act as the primary admin.
