Problems with the account

I'm trying to contact support about this problem, but it turns out that in order to contact support I also have to log in. I don't know if it's a problem with the website or the app. It's a bit frustrating because I was trying to renew my subscription, and everything was working fine, and then suddenly everything stopped working.

I appreciate you attaching a screenshot of your issue. I understand where you're coming from, and this isn't the experience we want you to have.

 

Based on what you've shared, it looks like you're unable to sign in to your account.  If you still have access to the phone number or email linked to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, you can recover your login.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to our sign-in page.
  2. Enter the phone number or email associated with your account.
  3. Select Password, then choose Forgot password or Text a code.
  4. Check your email or text messages for the verification code.
  5. Follow the prompts to sign in or reset your password.
    Note: Don’t close the window or tab containing the code entry form. If you close it, you will need to restart the process from the sign-in page and request a new code.

 

If you no longer have access to the phone number or email linked to the account, you can use our account recovery form to send a photo of one of the following documents. 

 

  • Driver’s license
  • State ID
  • Passport
  • Notarized document

 

However, if you prefer to speak with our Live Support Expert team to resolve your account problem, you can create a QBO trial account using the same email. This will let you access support even if you can't log in to your original account.

 

Once you have the trial account:

 

  1. Navigate to the Help (?) icon
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select Contact a human, then click Live Chat or Call me back.
  5. Type in a short description of your concern and click Continue.
  6. Choose between Callback or Chat.

 

After connecting with support, remember to cancel the trial to avoid being billed.
