In QuickBooks, a balance sheet report gives you a financial snapshot of your company as of a specific date. It calculates how much your business is worth (your business's equity) by subtracting all the money your company owes (liabilities) from everything it owns (assets).
If you'd like a balance sheet report for only one account at a time, I recommend running an Account Quick Report. I've included some steps to run the report below.
Click on the Accounting menu tab from the left pane.
Choose Chart of Accounts.
From the account you wish to view a report, tap on the dropdown arrow under the Action column on the right.
Select Run Report.
To customize the report, scroll up and make the necessary changes, then select Run Report.
