First, double-check that your payment processor (like QuickBooks Payments) is properly set up and connected. If there’s a problem with the connection, the payment link won’t show up. Also, make sure the invoice template you're using includes the payment link field, some custom templates might not have this set up by default.
Another thing to check is the customer’s payment preferences. If they don’t support online payments, the link won’t be available on the invoice. Lastly, sometimes browser issues or cached data can cause display problems, so try clearing your cache or using a different browser to see if that fixes it.
Let’s work together to verify your settings and ensure that the payment link appears on your invoice seamlessly, Sales323.
If the payment link is not showing on your invoice, even though credit card payments are enabled, please verify that the invoice's delivery method is set to Online Invoice. This is important because online invoices include a payment link button for your customers.
Here's how to check and confirm your settings:
Click on the Gear Icon located at the upper right of your QuickBooks Online screen.
Select Account and Settings.
Navigate to the Sales tab.
Scroll down to the Online Delivery section.
Ensure that the setting is toggled to Online Invoice.
Once you’ve confirmed the invoice delivery setting, open the invoice you’re working on and use the Preview feature to check if the payment link is visible on the invoice.
