Unable to switch into IAS

I am only primary admin of my qboa. While switching to IAS, I get message like I need to login as primary admin or company admin which I am already!  Also there is a loop for updating company information in billing and subscription section. How can I successfully switch and update my company information

As Primary Admin, you already have the right role to make this switch, so that error message shouldn't be blocking you. This seems like a bug rather than something on your end.

A few things worth trying before looping in support:

  1. Double check which Intuit Account you're signed in with. If your firm has more than one Intuit Account tied to it, it's possible you're signed in with an account that isn't the one marked Primary Admin on this specific firm.
  2. Sign out completely, then sign back in. This clears any cached session info that might be causing the system to not recognize your current role.
  3. Try a private or incognito browser window. This rules out a stuck cache or an old cookie causing the mismatch.

For the loop when updating your company information in billing and subscriptions, try completing all the required fields in a single pass without navigating away partway through, since an incomplete required field (like business website) can sometimes send you back to the start without a clear error.

If you've tried these and you're still stuck, this is worth getting in front of Accountant Support directly. Reach them through the Help menu inside your firm. Since you're already the Primary Admin, they'll be able to look at your specific account and firm setup to see what's blocking the switch.
