Why Intuit QuickBooks Desktop is not honoring the Discontinue of Usage & Analytics Study anymore in 2026?

I just "discontinue" yesterday and today is ON again?

Now is like the Discontinue button is "not working" any more.

There is likely a glitch with the software when the Discontinue button is not working. I recommend downloading the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub as it’s designed to automatically find and fix these kinds of glitches.

Just make sure to close QuickBooks completely before using it. For the best results, it's recommended to run the Tool Hub on Windows 11, 64-bit. Save the file somewhere handy, like your Downloads folder or your desktop, so it's easy to find. Open the downloaded QuickBooksToolHub.exe file and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. Once it's finished, just double-click the new desktop icon to open the tool hub.

To complete the process, follow the next steps found in Solution 6 to run the Quick Fix my Program and QuickBooks Tool Hub.

I did what you recommended, but it didn't work. I tried it on three different PC's, and it didn't work on any of them Maybe it's time to re-compile and fix it in an update.
