Why is GoCardless App not showing as a payment type?

I'll share the information about GoCardless not showing as a payment type in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Tom.

Firstly, can I ask if you want to make the Gocardless app as a payment type? If so, please know that it isn't possible because GoCardless is an application.

On the other hand, if you're trying to set up GoCardless as a payment method, please follow the steps below:

1. In your QuickBooks company, go to Apps.
2. Select My Apps.
3. Click the dropdown arrow next to GoCardless for QuickBooks.
4. Choose Settings.
5. A new window will open. Click Change.
6. Review or select the following:

• Payment method for GoCardless payments: Select the payment method appearing on the Receive Payment transaction when a direct debit is initiated.
• Expense category for fees charged by GoCardless: Choose the account to associate with GoCardless Fees when a deposit transaction includes fees as a line item.
• Bank Account where GoCardless deposits money: Select the bank account in QuickBooks to use when GoCardless makes payments.
• Classification for GoCardless payments made outside QuickBooks: Choose an account.

7.Click Next to save any changes.
