Why is nothing showing up in user activity

It could be permissions, if you are not the admin.  If it is an accountant, it does not provide user activity.  Most common is you are logged into a different user name and don't realize it.  

If you have a specific transaction that you need to track who was working on it, go down to the bottom bar and select "more actions" > audit history
