I would like to ask whether you are getting an error message or are stuck in a loop when reactivating your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll? If you have tried reactivating your payroll subscription directly through your QBDT company file and it didn’t work, try reactivating your payroll service using a web browser.
Follow the on-screen steps to reactivate your payroll service.
Please note that it may take 24 hours for your subscription to be fully reactivated. Your subscription will show Active once the reactivation is complete. For more information, please refer to this article: Reactivate your payroll subscription.
Furthermore, if your payment failed and triggered the deactivation, make sure your billing info is up to date before resubscribing. If you recently updated your billing info, it may also take 24 hours for it to reflect in the system.
