How can i reinstate an old account made inactive

Welcome, and thank you for getting help with your customer's account. I'll be assisting you.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the profile/customer name in your list of customers or your customer's QBO subscription?

To activate a customer profile:

1. Go to Sales on the left navigation bar and choose Customer.
2. Click the small Gear icon above the list.
3. Put a checkmark in the Include inactive checkbox and click outside the drop list.
4. Hit the Make active option on the deleted profile.
   
   

To reactivate a QBO subscription, you can follow the steps in this article: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online. Please note that a deactivated subscription can no longer be reactivated after a year.
