Question

The numbers on the bankstatement, does not pull through to the description in my bank transactions. How do I correct this?

QuickBooks Online relies on your bank’s data, Marle. If the numbers are not appearing in the bank feeds, it can be due to the privacy policies of certain banks that limit the information they provide.

 

However, we can view the full transaction details provided by your bank by enabling the Show bank details option in QuickBooks Online.

 

Here’s how to enable it:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions tab and select Bank transactions.
  2. Click the Gear icon located on the right side of the screen, just above your list of transactions in the For Review section.
  3. In the dropdown menu, check the box next to Show bank details.
