Any ideas? I have to log in quite frequently and it rarely works, many thanks.

Error 105 occurs when there's a temporary connection issue between QuickBooks and your bank, oftentimes because it's undergoing maintenance, King. These tend to resolve themselves within 24 to 48 hours as the bank refreshes its systems. If not, you'll want to update your bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO) manually.

 

Here‘s how:

 

  1. Navigate to My apps, then Accounting, and select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose your NatWest account from the displayed tiles.
  3. Click the Update button.
  4. If you still can't connect, please wait two to three hours and try again.

 

It's also a good idea to log in directly to your bank’s website to check for any service alerts, outages, or required actions (such as updating your credentials) that are causing the error.

 

Once the connection is re-established and transactions sync, you'll be ready to categorise and match them in QuickBooks.
