Anyone having trouble reconnecting their Halifax account? It's been connected previously but now I am trying to refresh it isn't working. Ie spoken with Halifax and they said it isn't a problem from their end!?

I’ve check here on my end and find no related reports about this. Rest assured I’m here to help you and ensure you’ll be able to reconnect your Halifax account to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

Let’s access your account via a private window (incognito) and reconnect your bank from there. There are times that stored cache from your browser causes unusual behaviour that affects your QBSE performance.

Using a private window doesn’t save any data, thus, it helps us determines if this is a browser cache issue. To start, here are the keyboard shortcuts in opening a private window:

• For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
• For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

Once logged in via a private window, try to reconnect your account to double-check. If you’re able to, then we’ll need to clear your browser's cache. This will delete all data and make your browser to function efficiently.

If the issue persists, try using other supported browsers. That way, we can see and check if this is a browser-integrated issue.
