My first suggestion would be to complete a bank reconcilation to determine where the difference has occured.

Have you only just connected the account into QuickBooks Online? You may find that QBO automatically enters an opening balance amount so you might want to look in the account history to see if this is the case.

Have you entered an opening balance as a journal for the account?

There a numerous amount of reasons why the bank balance could be out. Please let me know if you require any help with this.
