May I know what's the name of the bank you are trying to update? This way, we can check for any reported investigation.
In the meantime, we can manually update your bank by following the steps below. For most banks, QuickBooks downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Some may take a little longer.
Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
From the Banking tab, select Update.

On the other hand, manually upload your transactions by downloading a CSV file from your bank's website. Then, categorise and match the data in QuickBooks.
