Can anyone help. I work for a company on a self employed basis. They pay by bank transfer every two weeks. How do i add my income on the new soletrader plus?

To record your income, connect your bank account directly to QuickBooks Sole Trader Plus. This feature saves time by automatically importing your income transactions.

First, ensure your bank supports Open Banking, then follow these steps:

1. Go to All apps and click on the Accounting tab.
2. Choose Bank transactions.
3. Click the Link account and select your bank.
4. Select Let's go, review the terms, and then click Agree.
5. Sign in with your online banking credentials and complete any security steps.
6. Choose the accounts you want to connect (current, savings, or credit card). Note: Select an account type that matches your Chart of Accounts.

After connecting your account, please follow Steps 2 and 3 at this link. Under the Category column, pick Income and set the Product/Service to Service.

If your transactions do not appear in the Bank transactions tab, you can manually record them as Sales Receipts and choose in the PRODUCT/SERVICE column as Service. Here's how:

1. Navigate to + Create and choose Sales receipt.
2. Enter your company’s details and ensure you select Service in the Product/Service column to categorize your income correctly.
