Error 571 when reconnecting to my TSB business account from my Apple iMac

Over several weeks I have trawled the internet and blog pages regarding this issue.

I follow the reconnect process and the bank renews the consent everytime; (Yippee!) it is currently renewed until 27/06/2026.

but the last dialogue; 'Click continue to complete' takes me back to error 571 again!

So the process IS renewing the consent but that authority in not getting back to my qbo session as far as I can see. I assume, when I click the 'Continue' button - that is when this consent is transferred to my Intuit qbo session, but it is NOT happening.

I have tried disconnecting the bank account and reconnecting; clearing cache, trying it on my iPhone, trying Private Browser windows/different browsers and a host of other suggestions. I am getting the distinct impression that this is an Apple related issue. If I go to somewhere that has a Windows environment, it completes the process first time. Then I can go back to my Apple environment and everything is fine ........... for 90 days!!

This is very irritating. In every other way my QuickBooks system is wonderful.

Any gurus out there that can shine a light/lite on this issue for me please?

Hi there, Pickledfingers. I recommend that you contact our QuickBooks live support team so they can investigate why your iMac is blocking the final TSB connection. They can help you investigate this issue further, review the backend of your account, and resolve the error.

QuickBooks operates on a link logic. Even though TSB has given consent until 2026, your Mac is preventing that "OK" signal from reaching your session. Since you've already tried the standard browser fixes, a live agent needs to screen-share with you to identify the specific block.

To get started, go to the Help (?) icon. Then scroll down to select the Contact Us button and follow the prompts. You will be able to request a callback or start a live chat with an expert. You can refer to this article for guidance on support hours: How to Get Help with QuickBooks.

With a live support agent on the case, they can track why the "Continue" button is failing on your Apple devices. This should put an end to the 90-day headache once and for all.
