How do I add purchases I made to set up my business prior to having a bank account?

More details:  I have created an owners equity account and added myself as a supplier as per the guide. I have added and synced my bank account also. However, there are a number of purchases I made in order to setup my business prior to me having a bank account....purchases I made out of my own money.  How would I record these in QB as investment?
