I am seeing issues reconnecting bank feeds - is this just me or more widespread?

Welcome to the Community, Tim-Povey. Could you please tell me the name of your bank you’re trying to reconnect with? Any details you provide will help us identify the issue and guide you through the resolution steps.   

Also, please visit your financial institution to check if they are performing maintenance or updating their site, which may cause temporary connection losses.  

The error you encountered is a common handshake that usually happens when there is a communication glitch between QuickBooks and the bank’s server. In the meantime, we recommend performing basic troubleshooting by using Incognito or a private window, as this provides a clean slate by ignoring old, cached data from past sessions that might be blocking the current connection.
