HSBC have written to us to inform that they have changed our sort code for our euro account. It has not changed the bank account on paper, but has obviusly broken the original connection. Since this happened last month the bank download has not worked. I do I go about reconnecting?

Hi, Usually Quickbooks works very well for me but I am currently having an issue with QB connecting to my RBS Business Account to pull through Balance information and transaction information.  I'm getting error "163" and it's been like this for a few days. My accountant tells me its a known issue with RBS accounts. Is anyone else having a similar problem with connecting to an RBS account? And does anyone have any information about when it will be fixed?Thanks.

Hi, - I started using Quickbooks Online at the start of this financial year- I imported my bank balance (hypothetical number: £100k) correctly- My VAT return period runs Feb / Mar / Apr- I need to submit a VAT return for that period- I've inputted an invoice and marked it as paid (hypotherical number: £1,000) and so that the VAT I'm paying in this quarter is accurate- My bank balance in Quickbooks is now out by (hypothetical number) £1,000- How do I correct this? Why has Quickbooks added that amount to my Quickbooks bank balance when it knows the balance was correct as of 01/04/18

Are there some obvious reasons for the bank balance reflecting a significantly lower balance than the quickbooks balance?  Thanks in advance.  

how do i  disconnect bank feed, i have changed pass word so need to reset bank feed, and therefore disconnect old feed before starting process

Im new in QB. Initially I created a bank account without op. balance, I imported transactions and I saw the mistake. I couldn't introduce a open balance to that account, so I deleted. I created a new one. But now in reports, it appear the transactions related to the deleted bank account. When I'm trying to delete each transaction QB doesn't allow me bcs it says "This transaction will cause a deleted account named To/From GBP Uk account -19 (deleted) to have non-zero balance." Please help! how I can delete definitively this transactions?

Hi, I found that the balance in QBs and in Bank does not match.So I checked the account history and find it generated two transactions for one.The original deposit of £200 become one payment of £200 and one deposit of £200.Which makes the total deposit for this transaction become 0(ZERO).I don't understand why a deposit type of transaction can become payment?(see attached pic)I try to edit each of them and both of the two transactions are linked to the bank history. I tried to delete both of them and review the transaction again, however, it still gives two transactions in the account history.What should I do to make it right? Thanks, Regards,Zack

Hi, can I ask if anyone has had issues with the automtaic update of transactions form an RBS bank account? This simply stopped working for me over a week ago and neither QBO or RBS can explain why. RBS just say they don't support any third party software accessing their customer accounts. There must be other QBO users with RBS banka ccounts and I'm wondering if this is a widespread issue? It's a pretty key bit of functionality for me so I need to find a solution or to change supplier(s). Thanks

Anyone having problems with RBS? Have reported it, can't connect, have retried entering credentials. Happened three weeks ago too, the interface seems quite unreliable.

I just went back online with QB online. I have been gone for awhile. I downloaded banking transactions and only got 90 days. I need the whole year of 2017. How do I obtain those transactions? Thanks,Julius

Hi, I regularly have problems with banking which doesn't update. Right now it hasn't updated since a week. Quickbooks is telling me to clear cache and cookies, which I have done and still it doesn't update. I have also signed in using another browser, Firefox. They tell me to use google Chrome, but I don't want to. I work on a Macbook and Iphone and prefer Safari.Does anyone have similar problems?

I am still farily new to QBO and am Mac based.  I am trying to download bank transactions but nothing happens.  QB conntected to the bank without problem but now my already (from last time) selected/ticked accounts are 'greyed' out and so is the green 'connect' button at the bottom.  It looks as if I am connected but can only see my accounts but can't touch/connect them.  Why is that?  Is it a Bank or QB or Mac issue or I am doing something wrong?  Last quarter it worked without any trouble.  Has anyone else had the same problem and how did you solve it?  

trying to up date my paypal banking and it keeps coming up with an error

Hi, I have an issue with bank of scotland bank feed balance  for credit card  appearing as credit card credit rather than a charge. This means on the balance sheet all my other bank feeds for credit cards come in and correctly show themselves as apositive number in the liabilites section however bank of scotland appears as a negative. anybody experienced this or solved it?  Thank you in advance if you have and you want to share

Is it possible to disconnect my bank and clear out all transaction to start over?

Whenever I try to connect to paypal I get an error. I think it may have to do with the built-in 2 step authentication that I'v set up on paypal.  any tips?

I have a discerpency whilst completing a bank reconciliation. The difference matches what is on the bank statement, but it does not appear on the Qbs statement to tick off? How do I find the transaction to complete taht weeks reconciliation?
