Just recorded a vat payment but it's not showing on the bank reconciliation page

Hello Sharon18, thanks for getting in touch with the Community😊 How did you record the VAT payment? Was this in the banking section or in the VAT section? It may be that it has not tentatively reconciled. If you can go to accounting on the left-hand side>chart of accounts>select account history on the bank account>select the funnel symbol on the top left and then in the box that pops up to change the reconcile status from all to not reconciled and then filter by date or amount can you then see the amount. If so and in the column with a tick if it is blank click it till you get a C and save it then should show in the reconcile to be able to select.
