Question

My bank account has somehow duplicated itself, doubling my balance which is incorrect, however its only showing one set of accounts connected ?

That is a bit unusual. QuickBooks relies directly on the data provided by your bank feed, so balances shouldn't normally duplicate. One possible reason is a temporary glitch during a routine sync. This can sometimes cause automated feeds to duplicate transactions, showing an incorrect, higher balance.

 

If you see these duplicates, you can exclude them to correct your dashboard balance. To do this, go to Transactions > Bank transactions. Click the transaction, select the Pencil icon, and choose Exclude.
