My bank isn’t connecting. It says input failed when returning to quickbooks. Any ideas? All apps up to date

What I can first suggest for you is to search your online bank account via its URL or web address, instead of its name. This is to ensure you're connecting your actual online bank since some banks have multiple entries available in the product.
