Your Employment Payment Record (P32) in QuickBooks Online (QBO) should tally up with the inland revenue (HMRC) data. Here are some of the possible reason they don't match:
You've paid the incorrect amount of payroll taxes.
Incorrect taxes in your employees' paychecks.
You'll have to go through each of your payroll tax payments and employees' paycheck to identify where exactly is the origin of the incorrect data. To do this, let's go to the Payroll Tax Centre and check your payroll tax payments. This is if you're using the Standard Payroll version of QuickBooks. Here's how:
Go to the Taxes menu.
Select Payroll Tax.
On the Payroll Tax Centre page, carefully check the Due Now and Submitted sections for your tax payments.

After that, you can visit the Payroll History section from the Payroll menu to check your employees' paychecks. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
