Could you please provide the name of your financial institution? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

You can check your bank's website for any issues connecting QuickBooks with your bank, as QuickBooks relies on the information provided by your bank.

To resolve general QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app issues and unexpected behavior, clear the app’s cache. Refreshing your data first ensures you are working with the latest information while removing historical data for a clean slate.

Here’s how to refresh the data:

For iOS devices, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > QBO mobile app > Offload App.

For Android devices, you can open the Menu ☰ > More Options ⋮ > Settings > Refresh Data > Yes.

If you want to work on your bank entries while waiting for your bank to link with QuickBooks, I suggest manually uploading your transactions using a CSV file so you can categorise them as needed.

Please note that manually uploading transactions may result in duplicate entries if your bank is linked to QuickBooks. If this happens, you can easily remove the duplicates by selecting them and choosing Exclude.
