Question

Why is my linked bank account not included in my cash flow balance?

My cash balance on the dashboard is significantly lower than my actual balance. My linked bank accounts are not included, despite my bank account being currently connected for pulling in transactions automatically.

You'll want to check the connections of your linked accounts and verify that they are activated, mannovatrade.

The accounts might be disabled, which could explain why they aren’t appearing in the cash flow balance. Also, the cash balance doesn't include the following information, which leads your cash balance to a lower balance than what you actually have:

  • Credit card and loan balances
  • Upcoming invoices and tax payments
  • Unlinked bank accounts

If the accounts are active, I recommend contacting our Live Support team. They can review this unusual behavior and help you apply the permanent solution once it becomes available. To contact them, click this link: QuickBooks Support site.
