Hello there, @camposboat. I know a possible reason why your bank rules didn't get to migrate in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me elaborate on it in detail.

 

Bank rules will only be migrated from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QBO if your banking preference in QuickBooks was set as Express or Advanced mode. To ensure your banking preference is correct, here's how to check:
 

  1. In your QBDT file, go to the Edit menu, then select Preferences.


     
  2. Click on the Checking tab, then select Company Preferences.
  3. Check your preference in the Bank Feeds section.

This did not fix my problem. My QBDT is in EXPRESS mode and the rules did not migrate to QBO.

Since your bank rule migration issue continues, even after handling transactions using the appropriate bank mode, I'd recommend setting them up manually. Then, to investigate this further, I'll route you to the next best help available. Let me show you how to do this below.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose a way to connect with us (Send a message / Chat or Get a callback / Callback). 

 

Once everything is all set, I'd encourage you to reconcile your accounts regularly (every month) to monitor your income and expenses and detect any possible errors accordingly.
