Can I change my beginning balance in the bank reconciliation program?

Yes, you can edit it by going to your chart of accounts. Let me show you how to manage your beginning balance in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If this is your first time reconciling your account, here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon. Select Chart of accounts.
2. Look for the account you wanted to reconcile and edit the beginning balance.
3. Under the Action column, click View register.
4. Edit the initial balance of the account. Record the date and balance.
