Credit Card CV File Upload - Transaction Reference Type Error

Hi!

So I recently uploaded a CV file of American Express Charges into for the past few months however, when I am confirming the transaction it is posting the charge as a Credit Card Payment and NOT a Credit Card Expense. Is there any way to change this when confirming transactions after uploading the CV file? Or did I upload the file incorrectly? I would have to have to go back and manually enter 400 transactions 😞

Thanks!

I'm glad to see you here in Community, @FreshH

I want to make sure that you're able to get the assistance that you need.

If the transaction is posting the charge as a Credit Card Payment and NOT a Credit Card Expense, you'd want to check the settings and make sure they are correctly set up. After changing, you can re-import the transactions.

This article about importing bank transactions will be your guide. If you find an error, then you can delete them and import them again.
